Whether you are a fresh graduate, a certified coder, or an experienced professional looking to grow — this webinar covers everything you need to know about building a rewarding medical coding career across three high-demand specialties.
This session is designed to give you a complete, transparent picture of what each medical coding role involves — from eligibility and training to salary and career growth. Walk away with clarity on which pathway suits you best.
Freshers, certified candidates, trained coders, and experienced professionals across all healthcare coding specialties.
Role responsibilities, internship structure, ramp-up timelines, project allocation, KRI parameters, and salary progression.
Understand the step-by-step journey from training to full-time production — for both freshers and experienced coders.
Inpatient Diagnosis Related Group (IPDRG) coding is one of the most comprehensive specialties in medical coding. Coders review inpatient medical records and assign accurate diagnosis and procedure codes, culminating in DRG assignment and validation.
Principal & secondary diagnosis selection, ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, POA indicators, CC/MCC identification, HAC conditions, and DRG assignment (MS-DRG, APR-DRG, IR-DRG).
Medical terminology, anatomy, clinical validation, complication and comorbidity review, encoder/CAC utilisation, and sequencing logic.
Freshers with medical coding training or certification, or candidates with relevant healthcare/medical knowledge. Both certified and non-certified candidates may apply.
2-Month Internship — Performance evaluation → Project allocation → Placement upon successful completion.
3-Month Internship — Skill development, performance evaluation → Project allocation → Placement upon successful completion.
₹11,000 per month
Revision based on KRI, accuracy, productivity, quality & project allocation.
Up to ₹23,000/month based on applicable performance criteria.
Already working in IPDRG or transitioning from another coding specialty? These structured pathways are designed to integrate you into live projects with a focused ramp-up.
Process orientation, client-specific guidelines, quality parameters, and production workflow familiarisation.
Active production window: 8:00 PM – 10:00 PM. Compensation linked to production, quality, and project requirements.
Up to ₹40,000 based on applicable production and project parameters.
IPDRG fundamentals, inpatient chart structure, principal & secondary diagnosis concepts.
ICD-10-CM inpatient coding, ICD-10-PCS, DRG concepts, CC/MCC, POA, and HAC.
Complex inpatient cases, DRG validation, sequencing, and productivity practice.
Project-specific training, quality assessment, production readiness, and final evaluation.
Hierarchical Condition Category (HCC) coding focuses on accurately identifying and documenting chronic and significant medical conditions from patient records. This specialty plays a critical role in risk adjustment and healthcare funding accuracy.
Diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular disease, CKD, COPD, heart failure, cancer, obesity, and neurological & mental health conditions.
ICD-10-CM coding, MEAT principles, chronic condition identification, disease interactions, combination codes, and risk adjustment diagnosis capture.
₹11,000/month during the first 3-month probation. Revision up to ₹20,000/month based on KRI, accuracy, productivity, quality, and project allocation.
CDI professionals bridge the gap between clinical care and accurate coding. They ensure patient records genuinely reflect the severity, complexity, and treatment of each case — directly impacting quality metrics and DRG outcomes.
Strong medical coding background, inpatient coding knowledge, clinical anatomy & physiology, and documentation review skills.
Cardiology, pulmonology, neurology, nephrology, sepsis, respiratory failure, AKI, heart failure, malnutrition, and other complex inpatient conditions.
Up to ₹30,000/month, based on experience, production, quality, and project requirements.
Each role serves a distinct function within the medical coding ecosystem. Choose the one that aligns with your background, strengths, and career goals.

Two concepts that every candidate must understand before joining: KRI (Key Result Indicators) define how your performance is measured, and the Ramp-Up Period prepares you for real project demands before production begins.
Performance evaluation may include the following measurable parameters:
Understanding the assigned specialty, process workflows, and coding requirements.
Working with sample medical records; understanding audit requirements and coding accuracy standards.
Learning expected production standards and client-specific instructions.
Final evaluation of coding knowledge, quality, and productivity. Successful candidates proceed to project allocation.
Medical, life science, allied health, or healthcare-related graduates; medical coding trainees; certified medical coders.
IPDRG, HCC, ED/EM, surgery, outpatient, or other specialty coders; CDI professionals looking for advancement.
Eligibility may vary depending on the specific role and project requirements.
Master ICD-10-CM + ICD-10-PCS + DRG + CC/MCC + POA + HAC — among the most comprehensive in coding.
Exposure to surgical cases, multiple diagnoses, inpatient procedures, and clinical validation scenarios.
IPDRG expertise opens doors to CDI, auditing, quality review, and senior coding roles faster than most specialties.
"Build your medical coding career with practical exposure, specialty-based training, internship opportunities, ramp-up programmes, and project-oriented learning."
